Following in the footsteps of our first festival in 2017, an unforgettable New Year’s Sound System Conference, and our last session in January – with A Bass Odyssey joining forces with Peng Sound, 45Seven, Lion’s Den & All Tribes for one of the cities wickedest bass music events in recent memory – the saga continues this spring with our heaviest lineup to date! Join us from the 8th-10th of June for another audio/visual journey through 50 years of sound system culture and bass music in a unique venue in Berlin!
Kicking things off on Friday night, Dub der guten Hoffnung will be making their highly anticipated return with 3 very special guests from London, Manchester & Croatia for a lesson in “bassweight meditation”. Just next door, Higher Ground Recordings will celebrate their latest release with one of Jungle music’s rising stars, while Berlin Vintage Reggae Night pays homage to the roots of dub and bass music.
On Saturday, June 9th, the fun continues with an outdoor session from 2-10pm, before we move inside for a proper “sound system education”, featuring some very special guests from the UK and Italy with some heavyweight selections on the mighty Lion’s Den sound system! Meanwhile in the Räuberhöhle, one of Berlin’s most iconic dark-dub-bands will be making their long-awaited comeback, and just around the corner, Bassism Records will be heating up the dance with some future frequencies!
